Job Details

We are currently seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our team in Dallas, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interpret written business requirements, functional requirements and technical specification documents to design and develop technical solutions that meet business needs.

  • Perform system design and specification development, program logic and flow-charting that meets the stated project objectives.

  • Identify and communicate technical risks, issues, and changes.

  • Perform coding to written technical specifications.

  • Contribute to design review meetings with other members of Application Development

  • Perform complex defect verification, debugging, testing and support.

  • Investigate, analyze and document reported defects.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates that meet SDLC standards.

  • Create the software's architecture and/or employ rapid application development tools.

  • Drives analysis of problems to understand root cause and provide and implement recommended solutions.

Required Skills

  • 7+ Years of Experience with AWS SDLC in the following areas:

  • Storage - S3 ,

  • Networking and content delivery - Api gateway , VPC endpoint, IAM role user, VPC, Subnet, routes,Route53,

  • Compute - EC2, Serverless, Lambda

  • Security and identity - IAM, Security Groups. Security At rest and transit, SSM, KMS

  • Application integration - SNS/SQS, Event bridge, kafka Streams

  • Containers - Docker, EKS, Openshift

  • Database - Aurora and Dynamodb,

  • Analytics - Athena, OpenSearch, Quick insight, Data lake concepts

  • Programming - Python/Java/Shell scripting

  • Terraform - basic level , init, plan apply, resource variable module, data,

  • Docker - Dockerfile, FROM workdir, copy , difference between cmd and entrypoint, Mount, types of networking

  • Kubernetes - control plane, cluster, node, pods, service, basic yml how to define container in pods, namespace

  • CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, EF

  • Candidate should be available in Texas and 4 days a week should be available in Frisco client office. Any locals or candidates willing to relocate should be considered.

  • Detail oriented self-starter capable of working independently.

  • Experience with private or public cloud technology.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to document and design proposals.

  • Three or more years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms.

  • Understanding of and experience with the five pillars of a well-architected framework

  • Experience in several of the following areas in AWS : database , ETL, business intelligence, big data

  • Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject-matter experts.
