What you bring to your new team

Minimum of 7 years of DevOps experience
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with the Kubernetes container orchestration platform

Experience with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)

Familiarity with a continuous integration platform, such as Jenkins, Gitlab Actions, CircleCI, Azure DevOps, or AWS
-
CodeBuild, both setup/provisioning and normal usage

Experience using containerization platforms (i.e. Docker, containerd, ECS), both from an operational and delivery standpoint
Experience using one or more orchestration platforms; Terraform and/or Ansible are strongly preferred, but experience with Bicep, Puppet, Chef, Cloudformation, or Azure RM will be considered
Experience maintaining internet-facing production-grade applications in virtualized environments (cloud computing platforms and services)
Experience with distributed version control, (i.e. Git, Mercurial)
Experience managing internal or client-facing projects, troubleshooting clients' technical issues, and working with engineering, sales, and services teams and customers
Expertise in managing and working with Linux-based servers
Bachelor s Degree

Experience writing software in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Go, JavaScript, Java, or Ruby

Familiarity with the internals of the Java virtual machine, including garbage collection details and thread dump analysis

Strong networking skills, including VPN configuration, troubleshooting networking issues, and comprehension of various network transport or communications protocols (i.e. TCP, HTTP, DNS)
